New publication by SELE member
Dear SELE friends,
I am pleased to announce the publication of our new textbook on Essential EU Climate Law:
Woerdman, E., M.M. Roggenkamp and M. Holwerda (eds.) (2015), Essential EU Climate Law, Cheltenham: Edward Elgar, 320 pages.
This innovative textbook, developed at the University of Groningen, takes a broad approach to EU climate law by presenting all available legal instruments to combat climate change, ranging from greenhouse gas emissions trading to the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency mechanisms. After providing a definition of climate law, the book examines the main climate targets and instruments of the EU. Their impact on energy network management, competitiveness and multi-level governance is also discussed.
